WordHampton Public Relations was engaged to manage the social media presence of the Ladies' Village Improvement Society of East Hampton (LVIS), with the goal of increasing visibility, strengthening community engagement and better communicating the breadth of the organization's mission and impact.
We developed a strategic content plan built around recurring themes that made LVIS's social channels more consistent, engaging and informative. Campaigns included Hearts & Hands of LVIS, profiling the volunteers who drive the organization; Tremendous Tree Tuesday, showcasing LVIS's extensive tree planting and maintenance program; and Tree-via Thursday, using educational and interactive content to highlight environmental stewardship and LVIS's role in preserving East Hampton's landscape.
The platforms were also used to showcase the impact of LVIS programs within the community, including recognizing and celebrating recipients of the organization's annual scholarship program. Social media became an important promotional tool for the Annual LVIS Fair, with a coordinated campaign highlighting the event, activities and individual Silent Auction items to build awareness, excitement and participation.
Through consistent storytelling and recognizable content themes, WordHampton transformed the LVIS social media presence into a year-round communications platform that celebrates its volunteers and scholarship recipients, educates the community, promotes key initiatives and events, and reinforces the important role LVIS continues to play in East Hampton.
